Frequently Asked Questions
Where does it ship from? How long does delivery take?
USA and Canada orders will be shipped from our US warehouse via USPS. Average delivery times take 2-4 business days.
How do I track my order?
You'll get two emails: an order confirmation right after checkout and a shipping confirmation with your tracking number once your order leaves the warehouse — usually within 24 hours. Click the tracking link in either email to follow your delivery in real time. Lost the email? Reply to your order confirmation or message support@matsato.com with your order number and we'll resend
How long does the battery last?
A full charge gives you 70+ minutes of continuous sealing — enough to vacuum-seal an entire Costco haul or a week's worth of meal prep in one go. The Matsato Aerova charges via USB Type-C in under 4 hours from any phone charger, laptop, or wall adapter. The 1,200 mAh battery is rated for 500+ full charge cycles, which translates to roughly 3+ years of normal household use before any noticeable battery drop-off.
How can I pay for my purchase?
We accept all major payment methods:
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
- PayPal
- Apple Pay & Google Pay
- Shop Pay (with optional 4 interest-free installments)
- Klarna & Afterpay (UK, AU, US — pay in 4 interest-free payments)
All transactions are SSL-encrypted and processed through PCI-compliant payment gateways. We never see or store your card details.
Do you have a return policy?
Yes — 60 days, no questions asked. Try the Aerova in your kitchen for three months. If it doesn't earn its place in your drawer, send it back for a full refund. We'll even cover the return shipping. To start a return, email support@matsato.com with your order number. Most refunds are processed within 3–5 business days of us receiving the device. The bags are yours to keep either way.
Does it really work on wet food like soups, marinades, and fresh fish?
Yes — this is what makes the Aerova different from most handheld sealers in this price range. The dedicated water outlet routes any liquid or moisture away from the pump, so you can vacuum-seal soups, marinades, freshly caught fish, or juicy berries without damaging the device. For best results, leave 2 inches of headspace at the top of the bag and let very hot liquids cool to room temperature before sealing.
Is the Matsato Aerova safe for sous-vide cooking?
Yes. The included reusable bags are sous-vide safe up to 158°F (70°C) — suitable for fish, chicken, pork, beef, and vegetables. For higher-temperature cooking, we recommend our heavy-duty sous-vide bag refills, available as an accessory. The vacuum seal holds tight under water immersion, so no floating bags or water seepage.
Are the bags reusable? How do I clean them?
Each bag is rated for 30+ reuse cycles. Rinse with warm soapy water or place top-rack in the dishwasher. The one-way valve is designed not to clog. Air-dry fully before the next seal — moisture inside the bag at sealing time can affect performance. For meat or fish bags we recommend a dedicated set you don't reuse for produce, just as you would with cutting boards.
